If you've been following updates for Cuddle Kobold at https://setsune.itch.io/kobold , you may know for the last few... (checks watch)... months, I've been working on expanding out and polishing a spin-off mini-game based on a Halloween idea. It started off very simple, but I eventually wanted to make it better, then I started adding more to the casual "Daytime" section, then it... Well, scope creep will forever be my foe. But now, Cuddle Kobold: Just a Bite is ready for public consumption!

Here's a couple quick bullet points about the mini-game:

• It's Pay-What-You-Want, and that includes free. I appreciate if you support my further work, but don't feel required to.
• Just a Bite is comprised of two sections: Nighttime and Daytime.
  • Nighttime is the "Chase" game, featuring the Kobold hot on your heels. There are 3 difficulty modes, and a bunch of gameplay options, feel free to use them in whatever way will let you have the most fun. (The only "restriction" is that Hard and One Bite do not save times with gameplay modifications enabled. But Normal doesn't care. Normal is just happy you showed up and had a good time.)
  • Daytime is a prototype of hanging out in the apartment with the Kobold in the full Cuddle Kobold! It was originally a secret reward, but you can switch to it directly now. I've tucked several easter eggs around the apartment, including festive hats celebrating holidays that... were relevant when those updates came out. And there's the whole... Christmas aesthetic...
    
• Cuddle Kobold: Just a Bite is Safe For Work (SFW). The full Cuddle Kobold will have optional mature content, so keep that in mind if you choose to follow the main game. But this separate mini-game release does not have mature or adult content.
• I've included a version using an "Input Simulator", to allow for people without VR hardware to play. This can be clunky and has been affectionately referred to as "VR QWOP", but I can attest you can get the hang of it pretty quickly. I recommend using VR hardware if you can, but it's an option if you desire it.
